A plot of land in the Svalbard archipelago has been put up for sale for €300 million.
As stated in the material, in the high latitudes of the Arctic, a plot of land the size of Manhattan of geopolitical significance is being sold for €300 million ($323 million).
It is clarified that this happened after the warmest summer was recorded in the Arctic last year, and in the Svalbard region there was less sea ice as a result of climate change.
Lawyer Per Killingstad said it was the last private site on the nine islands of the archipelago.
