Any, even the most well -groomed reservoir, if you do not follow it, invariably begins to become polluted. The “guilty” is exclusively natural processes. Using special training equipment for hydraulic engineers, you can see with your own way to see how the shores are destroyed and how the beaches gradually overgrow. Why do these processes occur?
Which leads to pollution of reservoirs
Pollution processes are due to the ingress of melt water into the reservoir, which brings with it soil fragments and clay. Surrounding garbage enters the water with the same water. Gradually all this settles to the bottom, rot. As a result, the bottom is covered with silt. Since hydrogen sulfide is distinguished as a result of decay, this further worsens the ecology of the entire system. As a result:
The surrounding vegetation is dying, which also settles to the bottom;
water begins to bloom;
the reservoir gradually carries;
Fish begins to die;
Algae, duckweed appear;
An unpleasant rotten smell begins to come from water.
In the end, the “aged” in this way the reservoir gradually turns into a swamp. Water becomes green or blushes, transparency disappears.
What measures should be taken
Unfortunately, the natural environment cannot help itself in this case, human intervention is required. The most important thing is to prevent the flow from clogging, which would be washed out of the reservoir “bad” water, not allow the lake to stagnate. For this, special planned work is carried out, as a result of which the bottom of the reservoir is cleaned of reeds and reeds. Thanks to such works:
In the line of the river and in the lakes, the natural water regime is restored;
The bottom can be deepened by several meters;
Leded garbage, fallen trees are removed.
Of course, the educational technique only allows you to familiarize yourself with the mechanisms that are used in the purification of reservoirs. These include floating platforms with buckets, hinged shells and earthquakes.
