If you purchased a cabinet with a bathroom sink, then carpet linoleum is the best solution for the bathroom. Carpet laying is carried out in two ways
1. gluing the material;
2. Laying on the base with mounting along the perimeter of the room. This method is used in residential premises, children’s nurseries, offices.
To stick carpet linoleums use dispersed adhesives or adhesives based on synthetic resins and rubber. The preparation of the base consists in cleaning and alignment.
Before the sticker the carpet, you need to let it get out for several days to straighten. Then the carpet is turned into a roll to the middle. A glue with a thickness of up to 1 mm is applied to the base, not covered with glue of a strip of 100-150 mm along the edges of the carpet in order to finish the joints later. Carpets are glued to the dispersed adhesives immediately, and if adhesives are used on synthetic resins, you must wait 15-20 minutes after applying glue. The carpet is first pressed along the central midline, and then smoothed out towards the edges.
The joints are cut after three days necessary for shrinkage. Cutting the edges of the carpets are carried out by analogy with linoleum. The edges of the same technology are glued together as the whole coating. But if there is no certainty that you can’t carefully perform this operation, you can use a special adhesive tape to connect the edges of the carpet. You can walk on such a coating no earlier than three days.
