Construction of the first railway

The construction of the first railway required considerable investments. In itself, it was not just a large -scale event, but also a very difficult technological process, which includes subsequent competent operation and repair.

The construction of the road, in the first half of the 19th century, influenced the emerging and developing economy of many countries of the world. Railways at that time were used only for freight transportation. Therefore, the use of this type of transportation for passengers has become a coup in the economy. The history of the construction of the passenger railway originates in the UK, from there they spread to Western Europe, the USA and Canada.

Today, the total length of the railway tracks is more than a million kilometers. Modern railways no longer depend on the terrain. Areas with seismic activity and sharp temperature changes – not a barrier to lay new ways.

Many states for the development of the economy of their countries do not regret financial support for the construction and repair of railways. In addition to state support, investors from large businesses also appeared in this area. For the effective operation of railway tracks, interaction with other areas is necessary – the security service, fire station, energy supply and traction points. This mode of transport is rightfully the most economical and most used not only by passengers, but also to transport large cargo.
