Plastic forms for paving slabs

Vibrolypid paving slabs made using plastic shapes is characterized by a smooth surface and a rather attractive appearance. However, this product has several disadvantages primarily related to the raw materials used and the production method.

In those places where the movement intensively – highways and other road avenues, it is not advisable to use cast paving slabs, due to insufficient strength. This property is explained by a significant consumption of a high brand cement in the production of tiles of this type. Despite the fact that the production of tiles by casting is carried out in compliance with the proportions regulated by GOST and all stages of production indicators of concrete abrasion with great difficulty fit into existing requirements. In conditions of slight intensity of movement during operation according to the requirements of GOST, an abrasion indicator should not exceed 0.9GCM2 and above.

An equally important indicator of the quality of paving slabs is its frost resistance. The life of the tile depends on this property. The durability of paving elements, along with frost resistance, is also determined by waterproofing. Thus, it turns out that these indicators during the decoding will give an idea of ​​how much the tile will last until it begins to collapse outside. F100 – the minimum indicator of frost resistance and, according to the standard, this figure cannot lower less. Here there are individual nuances, it all depends on the environment, and the average temperature in the winter, is natural that for the southern and northern countries, you should choose different indicators of the frost resistance of the tile – respectively F100 and F200. But as practice shows, sad results, suppliers cannot establish the production of cast tiles in accordance with GOST and therefore the frost resistance indicator is always an order of magnitude lower than the stated requirements. Naturally, such gross violations in the production of paving slabs negatively affect its operational qualities, and above all, the duration of its use is reduced, over time the tile begins to collapse.
